In Music we hear how Jubal, son of Cain learned to recall the songs he heard from the heavenly realms in his dreams. His love of music brought joy to many and in sharing his gift he learned the art of teaching his songs to others. We too learn how to convey the music we hear and how to read and use solfa handsigns. We hear too, about a young monk who learned to write down the many songs he heard sung out in the fields during the harvest, and in turn we learn about music notation and how to compose simple songs of our own.
